Isis, the mother Goddess, is shown nursing her son Horus. Isis was the wife of Osiris and is sometimes portrayed with horns and the sun's disc. In hellenistic and Roman times she was a central figure in mystery religions and was associated with magical beliefs. Horus the sky-god is depicted in the shape of a man with a hakk's head. Horus was often associated with the divinity of the Pharaoh, who was the 'living Horus' ruling Egypt., 6996108
